Garden Inspiration

Happy Friday all.
The weekend is almost here and for many its a lovely long bank holiday. What will you be up to? We have finally decided to make a start on the garden, it will be a big job but we are looking forward to creating a relaxed space to enjoy over the summer months and for years to come.

For the past few weeks, while planning the garden project, I have been enjoying pinning inspiration here on Pinterest, I like the idea of a relaxed and informal space with lots to explore and look at, I really want to find some old galvanised pots to grow flowers in and source some old garden furniture and add some rustic cushions. The planting will be kept quite natural, I quite like the idea of meadow flowers growing through the grass and a little brick pathway leading to a bench at the bottom of the garden.

You can read a post I wrote last year about the vegetable patch I built and you can see its progression here and here, it was really lovely to grow our own salad and sweet peas and I can't wait to see our garden grow over the next few months.

Have a great weekend whatever you get up to.
