If you're anything like me and have left your Mother's Day gift to the last minute, then fear not, I have a super quick and super easy DIY gift idea that you might like to try.
All you need is a candle {this one is scented} some scraps of fabric and ribbon {long enough to wrap around the candle} a few buttons, superglue and a couple of dress-makers pins.
I used a neutral coloured piece of cotton with a dusky pink velvet ribbon on top to wrap around the candle, I secured it at the back with a couple of dress-makers pins pushed through the layers and into the wax. I then glued on three buttons! And that its it.
Wrap in some pretty paper and tie with a bow!
